Ministries

Sunday School meets at 9:15 am from September to June (we do not meet during the Summer months). We have at least one class for adults, and as the needs dictate, classes for teens and/or children.

Junior Church is for children ages 4-10. Children sit with their parents in the church service during the music time, and are dismissed before the Bible message in order to have their own lesson, taught on their level. Parents may pick them up following the service in room 202

Fellowship Groups meet in private homes for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. Current groups are listed in the church bulletin or you may contact the church office for information.

Awana is for boys and girls from Kindergarten through 6th grade, and meets on Friday evenings from 7:00-9:00 from September to May. More information can be obtained from the church office.

Youth Group is for Jr. High and Sr. High young people. It meets from 7:00-9:00 on Friday evenings from September to May. More information can be obtained from the church office.

North Shore Christian Schoolis our Christian day school which runs from pre-school through 8th grade. It is a tuition-based school, using primarily Christian based curriculum. The school office phone number is 473-2222.

Vacation Bible School is usually held for a week during the month of July, and is a highlight for children having completed Kindergarten through 6th grade.

Ministry Involvement We believe every true believer in Jesus Christ should be actively involved in a local church, using the talents, skills, and gifts that God has given them. Calvary Baptist Church has a variety of opportunities to serve, from music to grounds maintenance to assisting with all of the opportunities listed above.
